Waterproofing your building

July 14, 2017

Water infiltration is not only bothersome to the tenants but also a potential Hazardous condition to the structural integrity of the building. Water damage can compromise the underlying steel and wood supports, causing expansion, cracking and uncontrolled movement of stone, concrete, bricks and sheetrock of the walls and ceilings. Unless correctly repaired only the obviously observed damaged areas will be addressed, not the root cause of the water infiltration.

Salamon Engineering has experience in addressing the causes of the water in-leakages. Engineering Inspections are made of the exterior facades including the roof, roof bulkheads and parapet walls, lintels, brickwork and stonework, balconies and windows- to locate defective areas.
